News of the Burton Bros. fire brought my thoughts to Seaford, and then to SVFD. How wonderful to find you have a web site. Checking the event calendar I came to the feline rescue of 9/12. I just want to thank all the guys who came out on 9/12/12 to help a helpless lil kitten that fell down in the storm drain in front of subway. My family and I didn't know who to call so we decided to call the fire department I really appreciate everybody that helped I didn't really think anybody would care about a lil kitten like my family does. Just let you guys know we did name him "flush". He is doing great and he is still a little flighty but starting to play. Thank you again for all your help to save FLUSH!!!

I just wanted to say again how impressed with the greeting my Family got by your guys when we stopped in. We had been driving to Virginia Beach and unexpectantly drove through Seaford Delaware. Being from Seaford, NY and also being that my Son and I are active Firefighters in the Seaford FD on Long Island, we HAD to stop by and say hi. I know our 2 departments have a long standing relationship and it showed once again. Asst Chief Brad and FF Jack showed us around and gave us a tour of the HQ and trucks. We felt right at home. Thanks so much again for the great greeting we got! Stay Safe!
