Fire on High Street

On October 20, 2017 at 1751 hours; Seaford 911 Center alerted Seaford 87, Blades 71 , Laurel 81 ( Truck Co.), Georgetown 77 which was replaced by Greenwood 78 (RIT) for a structural fire at 121 High Street. 87-17 (A/C Wilson) arrived to a 3 story multi-family with businesses on 1st floor that had smoke coming out of the 2nd floor window. E872 secured hydrant and advanced a hose line to 2nd floor apartment where they found a kitchen fire. Tower 87 set up aerial to front of structure and crews searched 2nd and 3rd floor with Engine 71 to clear for possible occupants. Tower 81 was assigned Rapid intervention and Quint and Engine 78 staged in ready position.
